This wonderfully spicy Indian Onion Dip is just perfect with bread, naan, poppadoms, cheese or crudités.
You Will Need:
2 onions chopped
1-2cm piece ginger chopped
2 green chillies chopped
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 red chilli broken into bits
2 tbsp oil
lemon juice and salt to taste
Method:
Grind onions green chilies and ginger to a fine paste. Heat oil and add cumin seeds and red chilli and fry briefly. Combine all ingredients together and allow to cool before serving.
Serves 12.
