The new MyCOKE App has been specifically made for the New Zealand mobile phone market.
Now launched, the MyCOKE Mobile Application (App) will allow all Smartphone and Feature mobile phones users full and easy access to the latest COKE entertainment and updates.
The MyCOKE App provides an online experience and cross-platform functionality to suit New Zealand’s differing mobile phone systems, where traditionally groups of people may not have had the same access as their peers through their mobile phones.
Because feature phones have proven popular among a wide range of audiences, the breakthrough App will be invaluable to connect all users to future innovations from the world’s largest beverage company. The App will provide access to news and entertainment, games and an exclusive pass to content areas for registered users. It will make it easy for people to participate in promotions on-line and in the real world.
The launch timing, just ahead of the London 2012 Olympic Games, reflects the long-standing support Coca‑Cola has given the Olympic Games. In New Zealand, the Coca‑Cola anthem for the London 2012 Olympic Games as well as other content will be available to download through the App free of charge*.
Coca-Cola Oceania Marketing Manager Sparkling Beverages, Brid Drohan-Stewart says New Zealand is the first market in which the MyCOKE App will be rolled out, and for COKE consumers is a new and dynamic way to connect with the brand that can be accessed anywhere, anytime. “The MyCOKE App will provide an integrated platform of global and local content for consumers to engage with COKE through the convenience of their mobile phone.
“It’s about meeting the needs of our consumers, who in this present environment have widely differing digital capabilities.
