Tomato Bruschetta

This Tomato Bruschetta recipe makes for a tasty appetizer that is perfect for when you are entertaining. It is easy to prepare and is filled with delicious summer flavours. People will not be able to get enough of them.

What You Need:

10 tomatoes
3 cloves garlic
3/4 C fresh basil leaves
1 tsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/3 C olive oil
Salt and Pepper for taste
French or Italian-style bread slices

Method:

Preheat oven to 245 ˚C.
Dice tomatoes, mince the garlic and chop the basil leaves.
In a bowl, combine and mix together the tomatoes, basil leaves and garlic.
Add lemon juice, olive oil, salt and pepper and mix well.
Slice the bread into thin slices.
Brush one side of each slice of bread with the oilive oil and then place oil side down on a cooking sheet.
Toast the bread in the until golden brown.
Top each bruschetta with the tomato mixture and place of a plate to serve.

    I would consider a different oil such as Bran, while in the oven. Olive has a low carcinogenic burn temperature. Apply Olive oil for taste after it comes out of the oven. Otherwise, a good recipe.
    If one wants something a bit heavier, try shaving ages .gouda before toasting. Excellent Vitamin K source,
