About Ti Tonics’ Dr Tracey King:
 
Tracey grew up in Takapuna, Auckland. A top New Zealand junior tennis player, Tracey won a tennis scholarship to attend university in the US. Along with winning various accolades (including being inducted into the International Scholar Hall of Fame), Tracey graduated at the age of 20 with straight A’s in her major of Psychology.
 
After graduating, Tracey played satellite pro tennis tournaments and represented New Zealand in the Fed Cup.  She quit tennis to return to University, completing a Masters in Sociology & Social Research and a PhD in Health Psychology, both in the UK. Tracey lectured in Health and Behavioural Medicine for four years and also developed an award-winning range of juices and smoothies – the Tiger Bay Beverage Co. Homesick for New Zealand, Tracey moved back home in 2005 and has been working with independent biotech research company BioDiscovery NZ Ltd. ever since. Together with the principals of the company Peter Wigley and Andrew Broadwell, Tracey developed a new range of ‘functional infusions’ – Ti Tonics.
 
Tracey’s personal hobbies include keeping fit through walking and going to the gym. She also enjoys tennis, beach tennis, reading and socialising with friends. Tracey has a personal interest in health and nutrition, wellness psychology and extending her knowledge in the areas of marketing, branding, business and beverages. She is mother to Jackson (nine years) and Dallas (four-and-a-half months) and is engaged to fellow entrepreneur James Ehau.
