Two Cock and Bull beers were awarded top accolades at the recent industry BrewNZ awards… Monks Habit and their traditional English Ale, Fuggles.

Monk`s Habit won a Gold Medal, Best In Class and the Trophy in the “NZ, US and International Ale Styles” while Cock & Bull`s traditional English Pale Ale, Fuggles, also took out a Gold Medal, Best In Class and the Trophy in the European Ales category.

Monk`s Habit, combining New Zealand Saaz, Styrian Goldings and American Amerillo hops with Crystal, Munich, Vienna and Pale ale malts has huge floral/citrus aroma`s, delivering huge hop flavour balanced by a complex malt background. The high bitterness helps balance out the hop and malt flavour leaving your taste buds screaming for more.

Over the past 15 years Monk`s Habit has been awarded the highest accolades in both local and International Beer Competitions.  Monks Habit has won 65 Medals and Trophies making it the most awarded beer in New Zealand.

Fuggles has a dense white head which clings to the glass till the very end of the drinking experience. The hops provide an earthy, orange, marmalade aroma and flavour which is perfectly balanced by caramel malts and finishes with lingering bitterness.

There are five Cock & Bull Traditional English Pubs in Auckland and Hamilton. You`ll find your local at Botany, Ellerslie, Lynfield, Newmarket, and the corner of Maui St and Church Rd, Te Rapa in Hamilton.
