Nosh presents you with an exciting battle of the taste buds and tempts you with the glory of being the best sausage creator in the foodie world.

Show our national BBQ buffs whose sausage reigns supreme with your own original and delicious Sausage filling recipe.  Be in to win a first prize of $2000 worth of Nosh Dosh vouchers or a runner up People’s Choice prize of $500 Nosh Dosh. 

The winner and runner up will have the opportunity to work with our head butcher to make their sausage recipe commercially viable and join our range of exceptional Black Rock Butchery hand made sausages.
Interested?  Read on to find out how to win the title of The Ultimate Nosh Sausage Maker; there are three levels to pass before you can claim your title.
Level 1:
You must create a name for your sausage and fill in the recipe template attached and send to [email protected] or send via fax to (09) 523 0451 by Tuesday 12th July 2011.  The top six sausage recipes submitted will be informed on Thursday 14th of July 2011 of their success and invited to participate in the second heat of the competition.
Level 2:
The second heat will be held at the Nosh Mt Eden Store on Wednesday 20th July 2011 from 4pm. Competitors will be assisted by a Nosh expert in creating their sausage from scratch.  The sausages will be judged by our top Nosh chefs and our head butcher, the top three recipes chosen will go through to level three.
Level 3:
The grand final of ‘The Ultimate Nosh Sausage Maker Challenge’ will be held at the 2011 Auckland Food Show.  Competitors will be given two free tickets to the Auckland Food Show where they will compete for the title of ‘The Ultimate Nosh Sausage Maker’.  Competitors will be assisted by a Nosh Expert in creating their sausage in front of an audience.  The winner and people’s choice award will be chosen by a panel of judges and the Food Show public.
