Tiramisu, an Italian creamy coffee dessert, which also translates to ‘pick me up’ has been carefully crafted into a Bakers Delight Scroll by a pair of New Zealand bakers, resulting in an decadent treat for Kiwis to enjoy.
The Tiramisu Scroll was developed right here in New Zealand and has bought a touch of Italian cuisine to New Zealand neighbourhoods. Out of 700 Bakers Delight stores worldwide, New Zealand is the only country to offer the new scrolls.
New Zealand Country Manager Scott Paterson is excited to have a Kiwi exclusive treat to offer customers. Bakers Delight scrolls are always on offer with the Berry and Apple & Walnut Scrolls the most popular in New Zealand. Paterson believes the new Tiramisu Scroll is the perfect offering for any Kiwi who can’t say no to dessert!
“The new Tiramisu Scroll was inspired by the Italian dessert that is very popular in New Zealand, and we are delighted to be the ones who created it. We know it will be a hit with sweet tooths and coffee-lovers nationwide” says Paterson.
Bakers Delight Tiramisu Scrolls are baked fresh every day and have a creamy, rich tiramisu-flavoured filling, are topped with a rich cream cheese icing and then dusted with cocoa powder.
Available from Thursday 21 July until Wednesday 10 August, Tiramisu Scrolls will retail for $3.70.
