For Mince Tarts, you need:
1 packet sweet shortcrust pastry, (already rolled)
1 x 380 gram jar of fruit mince, (or your own home made)
Icing sugar for dusting
1 x 5cm round pastry cutter
1 x small star cutter(optional)
Pre heat oven to 200 degrees Celsius
Spray a mini muffin tray with oil.
Cut out as many pastry rounds as you need.
Press firmly into the muffin tray.
Place teaspoonfuls of the mince into each one.
Optional: Cut out as many star shapes as you need. And place a star on top of each tart. I prefer less pastry so leave them plain as shown in the picture.
Cook for about 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Allow to cool slightly before removing from the tray
When ready to serve dust with icing sugar.
