Soft Cinnamon Raisin Bread

For all you raisin bread lovers out there, here’s a delicious recipe you can make in the oven at home.

Serves 10 – 12


2 1/2 cups standard flour

1 cup ground almonds (or 2 x 70g pack)

3 eggs

1/2 cup melted butter

1 tsp baking soda

1 cup yoghurt

1/4 tsp salt

3/4 cup honey (or 1 x 250g tub)

3 tbsp cinnamon

1/2 – 3/4 cup raisins


Heat oven to 175 C

Sift flour and mix all ingredients together in food processor, adding raisins at the very end

Spoon mixture into greased loaf tin

Bake for 45 minutes

Let it cool completely before removing from pan

Serve with butter or jam and enjoy!
