A quintessentially ‘British’ campaign celebrating SCHWEPPES launches this month just as the entire British Empire begins celebrating their Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

The campaign theme, ‘At the end of the day, all you need is a SCHWEPPES’ celebrates the charmingly British side to a 220-year-old brand, that also holds a firm place in the hearts of Kiwis.

Fans can embrace the ‘Best of British’ as the successful campaign comes direct from Britain, using light-hearted humour and playing on the classic ‘stiff British upper lip’ to demonstrate the extent of a bad day – because at the end of it, you can come home to a SCHWEPPES.

Two 30-second commercials (which kicked off Queens Birthday Weekend), are supported by outdoor bus shelter ads and billboards, as well as an online presence.

In keeping with tradition, SCHWEPPES proudly supported New Zealand’s own ‘Last Night of the Proms’ this month in honour of the Queens Diamond Jubilee.

Coca-Cola Oceania’s Marketing Manager Sparkling Beverages, Brid Drohan-Stewart says they expect the campaign to be popular among 30-49-year-olds, however expects that the good humour will be appreciated by all Kiwis.
