My friend Lynne brought this fantastic guacamole to our ‘Bring a plate’ ladies supper. This dip was the clear winner of the evening. All the guacamole was gobbled within minutes.
2 ripe avocados
1-2 tablespoons sour cream
½ red onion finely chopped
1 small ripe tomato – seeds removed and finely chopped
1 clove garlic finely chopped
About 2 tablespoons of freshly squeezed lime or lemon juice
a dash of Tabasco sauce ( or sweet chili sauce )
fresh chili – finely chopped ( optional )
Chopped coriander (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
1. Put avocado fresh in a bowl. Mash avocadoes with a folk roughly.
2. Add all the other ingredients in the bowl and combine well.
3. Serve with corn chips or tortilla.
