With the winter cold setting in, what better time for the Mac’s brewers to stoke the fire with their latest limited release offering, Mac’s Smoke House – a 5.1% cherry wood smoked amber ale.

Brewed using cherry wood smoked malt, caramalt and crystal Malts along with Nelson Sauvin and Motueka hops, Mac’s Smoke House is rich amber in colour with a medium bitterness and complex flavour and aroma.

Mac’s brewer, Andrew Madden says: “It’s always fun brewing these limited release beers and our take on a traditional smoked amber ale was definitely no different. By infusing malted barley with the smoke of a blazing cherrywood, we were able to create a lovely smoky flavour in the glass and we can’t wait for our punters to try it”.

Mac’s Smoke House is available on tap at Mac’s Brew Bars nationwide for a limited time.
