Paying homage to the land of the long white cloud, Nespresso has released a Limited Edition New Zealand Grands Crus Assortment, chosen especially with Kiwi taste buds in mind.
The flat white is widely reported as the nation’s preferred coffee style. Therefore Nespresso’s New Zealand Grands Crus Assortment is ideal for Kiwi coffee connoisseurs, as it combines 10 different coffees with a range of intensities and notes – all of which can be complemented by milk.
The Kiwiana-themed packaging was designed by New Zealand artist Wayne Youle, entitled ‘Simple Mathematics’. It incorporates Cuisenaire Rods (the mathematical learning tool Wayne used as a boy) styled as Koru and presented in the colours of Nespresso’s Grands Crus range; with the central colours reflecting the 10 varieties that make up the assortment.
In 2011 Youle created a wall of capsule art for the opening of the Nespresso boutique in Auckland. His work is also held in public collections in New Zealand and many private collections locally and abroad.
Guillaume Chesneau, Nespresso New Zealand Country Manager, says the assortment offers the perfect variety of Nespresso Grands Grus to suit any coffee moment throughout the day.
“This latest assortment serves as the perfect match for the New Zealand lifestyle, with a Grand Crus offering from each Nespresso range: Intenso, Espresso, Pure Origin, Lungo, Decaffeinato and Variations.”
The New Zealand Grands Grus Assortment contains one sleeve (10 capsules) of each of the following varieties: Arpeggio, Fortissio Lungo, Volluto, Ristretto, Roma, Livanto, Kazaar, Indriya from India, Arpeggio Decaffeinato and Caramelito variations.
Available now for a limited time, the Nespresso New Zealand Grands Crus Assortment can only be purchased from Nespresso boutiques in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. RRP $99 for 100 capsules, and includes a complimentary box of Petits Carres Chocolates
