Chips and dip – there isn’t any better combination on a summer evening. With avocados literally cheap as chips at the moment, this recipe is super-simple and cheap, and pairs beautifully with good old-fashioned Kiwi Heartland chips. 

Ingredients:

  • 1 avocado
  • 1 small red chilli, seeds removed, finely chopped
  • 1 lime
  • 1/2 teaspoon wasabi paste (fresh if you can get it)
  • Flaky sea salt and pepper, to season

Metheartland-chips-guacamolehod:

Smash avocado with a fork, then mix through remaining ingredients. Serve with Heartland chips and your favourite drink.
