Veuve Clicquot will transform Queenstown into the ultimate winter playground this August with the return of Clicquot in the Snow. The annual luxury champagne festival inviteslocals and visitors to enjoy winter in style with fine champagne and an action-packed week.

This year’s programme will deliver four days of Clicquot-inspired activities and experiences in and around Queenstown each day. The city will be turned ‘Clicquot Yellow’ with a number of Clicquot events for the public to attend along with several city hotspots showing off their Clicquot décor.

What better way to enjoy the cooler months than to toast winter with one of the world’s finest champagnes, fine food and fabulous parties.”

Always a highlight at Clicquot in the Snow, is the runway show of Veuve Clicquot ambassador and New Zealand’s premier footwear designer Kathryn Wilson. This year, the show will take place at the Milford Sounds Flights Hanger that will be transformed into a glamourous catwalk for the exclusive viewing of her spring/summer 17 collection ahead of its release.

New to the programme this year and a New Zealand first, is the luxury Clicquot Croquet in the Snow. This one of a kind experience will give guests the chance to soak in the truly unique scenery that Queenstown is famous for with a scenic helicopter flight over the impressive mountain landscape. This will then be followed by a special landing on a snow-capped peak to enjoy chilled Veuve Clicquot and a game of the highest croquet in the Southern Hemisphere.

Veuve Clicquot will celebrate the Après Ski scene up at Coronet Peak with the Clicquot Après Bar where people can unwind with a glass of champagne after an active day on the mountain and play some unique Clicquot-inspired games. Culinary cravings can be satisfied with the Clicquot Long Lunch at Rata Restaurant where guests can enjoy a four-course degustation lunch designed by celebrity chef Josh Emett to be paired with Veuve Clicquot champagne. Also available will be the Pier 19 Clicquot Brunches, Clicquot High Tea at the Skyline and Clicquot Flute and Fries available at Hilton Queenstown.

The four-day celebration will conclude with a Clicquot Rosé inspired closing party. During the evening, guests will be treated to several unique moments with the famous Clicquot twist which makes every Veuve Clicquot event one to remember.

Clicquot in the Snow will run from Thursday 3rd August – Sunday 6th August 2017 with tickets on sale from May 24th.
