Montana, the number one New Zealand wine brand, trusted, loved and shared by New Zealanders since the 1940’s, is proud to celebrate the launch of the new Montana Reserve range of premium wines.
The new range consists of five wines from regions around New Zealand – regions chosen for the varietals they are renowned for, creating a range of wines that showcase different winegrowing regions with varietals that Montana consumers love. From the popular Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc and classic Gisborne Chardonnay, to a rich Pinot Noir from Waipara, and fresh Rosé and Pinot Gris both from the sunny Hawke’s Bay.
Founded in 1934, Montana is one of the original wine brands of New Zealand, first appearing on shelves in the early 1940’s. The Montana name was inspired by the mountain ranges that protected the original vineyard – a small block in the Waitakere Ranges, west of Auckland – and quickly grew to become a household name in New Zealand. From these humble beginnings, Montana’s success continued as the range of quality wines was extended. Vineyards were established in other regions where winemakers carefully matched grape varieties to best express the area, producing wines of exceptional character.
Montana’s commitment to producing consistent quality wines and styles remains unchanged today, and every bottle of Montana Reserve is built on a proud heritage as solid as the ranges it is named after. This makes every drop deep in history and so worth sharing.
The new Montana Reserve range is available from June through leading liquor retailers nationwide RRP $16.99 (Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, Gisborne Chardonnay, Waipara Pinot Noir and Hawke’s Bay Pinot Gris). The new vintage Hawke’s Bay Rosé will join the range from October 2017.
