Invivo Wines and Irish chat show king Graham Norton have this week launched a new campaign in celebration of St Patrick’s Day.
The campaign, cleverly titled ‘Irish Eyes are SmiliGN’, promises to bring some of that famed Irish luck to New Zealand with special offers and promotions on Graham Norton’s wine during the week leading up to St Patrick’s Day, Saturday 17 March.
The full Graham Norton range of wine will be on special at Auckland retailers and Irish pubs including The Cavalier Tavern, Doolan Brothers and O’Hagans in Auckland’s Viaduct.
Invivo co-founders Tim Lightbourne and Rob Cameron started working with Graham back in 2014 with the launch of Graham Norton’s Own SauviGNon Blanc – arguably one of New Zealand’s most talked about celebrity partnership to date.
Since then, the partnership has expanded to include a GN Rosé and Shiraz, plus Prosecco set to launch later this year.
Invivo co-founder Tim Lightbourne says demand for Graham’s wine continues to grow year on year in NZ and abroad.
“One in every 10 bottles of New Zealand wine sold in Ireland is Graham’s. His wines are seriously taking the world by storm.
Every year, we’re seeing demand increase and we now have more than 1000 stockists in Australia, around 2000 in the UK and 800 in Ireland. Plus, only last year, we launched Graham Wines in Norway, Denmark, USA, Hong Kong and Japan.”
It’s not all about the marketing, Graham’s wines have won over 50 medals including seven gold medals and a trophy at the UK People’s Choice Awards in 2017.
Major US wine publications Wine Spectator and Wine Advocate have also awarded Graham’s Sauvignon 90 points and Graham Norton’s Sauvignon was chosen to be served in Qantas Business class.
The full range of Graham Norton wines will be on special offer for the Irish holiday at the following local pubs;
- The Cavalier Tavern (Ponsonby)
- Doolan Brothers Newmarket
- Doolan Brothers Botany
- Doolan Brother Ellerslie
- Doolan Brothers Lynfield
- O’Hagans Irish Pub (Viaduct)
Graham’s wines are also available at New World, Pak N Save, Liquor King and other good liquor outlets nationwide.
