For the first time ever, Uber Eats is teaming up with Whittaker’s to host the ultimate Easter Kiwi hunt.
Starting on Wednesday 28 March, Whittaker’s famous Chocolate Easter Kiwis will be hidden throughout the Uber Eats app – and yes they will be free for those who spot them! You’ll find 5 Roll Refined Creamy Milk and 50% Dark Chocolate Kiwi bundled together on selected restaurant menus in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.
Simply log in, look out for the Chocolate Kiwi as you search for the food you’re craving, place the order and then track progress in the app as the food is prepared and delivered. The hunt will continue until the very last Kiwi is found, adding a little Easter magic to the process of pushing a button and getting the food you love delivered to your door at Uber speed.
Emma Foley, NZ Country Manager, Uber Eats, says: “We’re delighted to be working with Whittaker’s to surprise and delight customers during the Easter break. We already offer Kiwis unrivalled choice and selection with our menus so the idea of giving people the chance to add some Whittaker’s chocolate to their restaurant order during Easter is exciting.”
Established in New Zealand 122 years ago, Whittaker’s remains a family owned New Zealand business dedicated to producing the finest quality chocolate. The Whittaker’s Chocolate Kiwi is a unique take on the traditional Easter bunny.
Jasmine Currie, Marketing Manager at Whittaker’s says: “We’re thrilled to partner with Uber Eats to create this Easter Kiwi hunt across Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington and Christchurch. Best of luck to our Chocolate Lovers who take part, we hope you find a delicious chocolate treat to go along with your Uber Eats meal.”
Uber Eats is now available in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch with Hamilton recently launching in March. There are now more than 700 restaurants on the Uber Eats app across New Zealand.
