Clicquot in the Snow returns for 2018 and is set to be one of the most-sought after destinations this winter. Designed to take full advantage of New Zealand’s adventure capital, Queenstown, the annual luxury champagne festival is making it easier than ever to hop from powdery slopes and après ski bars to an array of new off-mountain experiences in true Clicquot style.
Dubbed as the most stylish event of the season, this year’s line-up will feature four-days of Clicquotinspired activities and experiences in and around Queenstown. Locals and visitors, ski amateurs and experts are invited to enjoy winter in style with fine champagne and an action-packed week with several city hotspots showing off Clicquot décor.

Debuting the Best of Fashion
It wouldn’t be Clicquot in the Snow without the highly-anticipated, annual Kathryn Wilson Runway Show presented by Veuve Clicquot. Guests will get to enjoy an exclusive catwalk show of Kathryn’s spring/summer 18 collection ahead of its release. This year’s show will be particularly special and one event not to miss, as Veuve Clicquot ambassador Kathryn Wilson celebrates the brand’s 15-year anniversary.
Action-packed Alpine Experiences
Skiers and snowboarders alike will get to explore the stunning snow-capped peaks and Central Otago’s secluded pockets through a series of exclusive alpine experiences.
New to the agenda this year, is a Clicquot Snow Shoe Experience at Snowfarm. Here, guests can venture off the beaten track and explore the snow-covered hills of the Southern Alps before heading to the iconic Meadow Hut to enjoy a delicious grazing platter and a bottle of Champagne. The popular Clicquot Après Ski Bar returns this year to the mountain and will undoubtedly be the place to unwind after an active day on the slopes.
Dishing up Clicquot Cuisine
Clicquot in the snow will once again partner with celebrity chef Josh Emett to bring back the Clicquot Long Lunch series Rata Restaurant, a four-course degustation lunch inspired by Clicquot Colourama and the Veuve Clicquot range including NV, Vintage and Rosé. Also available, will be the Clicquot High Tea at the Skyline which will include a selection of savouries and sweets paired with Clicquot. For some additional relaxation, The Hilton Queenstown will be including several Clicquot twists alongside a flute and facial offering at the opulent eforea spa.
Popping corks at the Clicquot Colourama Gala
Off the back of last year’s very successful ‘Clicquot Gala,’ Veuve Clicquot is excited to bring back a touch of glamour to help close the four-day winter celebration in style. The Clicquot Colourama Gala will be the ultimate place to be featuring live entertainment from some of New Zealand’s top musicians, multiple Clicquot moments and of course flowing champagne.
This year also marks 200 years since Madame Clicquot created the world’s first blended Rosé Champagne and to celebrate, Veuve Clicquot is keeping her spirit alive by creating an alpine Rosé oasis at the Colourma Gala. Thanks to a creative take on Veuve Clicquot’s Colourama, a colourful fusion of art, guests will experience a series of interactive elements. The Colourama theme is a fitting choice to mark the anniversary, as colour was a passion of Madame Clicquot, who is well known for saying “our wines must be flattering on both the palate and on the eye”.
