Restaurateur Nic Watt and New Zealand’s prestigious Sommelier Sam Harrop have team up and invite you on a journey to discover New Zealand’s finest local, fresh produce and award-winning wines.
Inspired by a Sense of Place brings together contemporary Japanese Robata style food with New Zealand’s finest wines.
The one-off exclusive event will be the first of its kind for diners to enjoy wines exclusively from the 2018 Fine Wines of New Zealand list. Guests will be treated to a beautifully crafted five course dinner sumptuously matched with wines from the Fine Wines of New Zealand list. With a nod to the inspiration for the night, dishes are being created to match the region the wines have come from. To tease the senses, think cloudy bay clams with cloudy bay wine.
