Banana Oaty Bites

These oaty bites are the perfect 3pm sweet; with oats to keep you full until dinnertime, and the perfect level of sweetness to satisfy that sugar craving.

Ingredients

2 bananas, peeled 
2 cups rolled oats (we love Alison’s Pantry)
¼ cup nut butter (we love Mother Earth Peanut Butter)
¼ cup honey (we love Mother Earth)
Handful of dark chocolate chips 
Pinch of ground cinnamon (we love Gregg’s)

Method

  1. In a bowl, mash the bananas to a puree consistency. Add in the oats, chocolate chips and cinnamon and stir well.
  2. In a microwave proof bowl, stir together the peanut butter and honey then microwave for 15 seconds. Pour into the oat mixture and stir to combine.
  3. Roll into balls, then place onto a lined tray and set in the freezer for 2 hours. Place into a container once set and store in the freezer.
