Bakers Delight New Zealand is giving Kiwis the chance to win a trip for two to Paris to thank them for supporting KidsCan’s annual Crazy Day, which will take place on 9 August this year. All customers will have to do is buy a pack of the brand’s delicious new Brioche Delights from 19 July – 15 August and enter the barcode they’re given online.

$1 from every 4-pack of Brioche Delights sold on Crazy Day itself will go to KidsCan to help raise funds for Kiwi kids in need. The newly launched Brioche Delights are made fresh from scratch every day with real butter and topped with indulgent sweet ingredients and flavours, including Choc Jam, Lamington, Coconut & Lemon Curd and Biscuit Crunch.

KidsCan’s annual Crazy Day is a fun-filled fundraising day that takes place in August every year. Schools, businesses and individuals raise money by doing something a little bit crazy, whether it’s wearing a silly wig for the day, dressing as a superhero or baking and selling wacky snacks.

The Bakers Delight Crazy Day activity comes on the back of the brand’s first fundraising effort for KidsCan in May this year. Bakers Delights around the country sold red and blue sprinkled Finger Buns, raising more than $40,000 for KidsCan.

“We are really looking forward to running another fundraising campaign for KidsCan,” says James Morton, Bakers Delight New Zealand Country Manager. “Our customers really got on board with the first effort and we think they’re going to be just as excited about this one. Especially with the added bonus of being in with the chance to win a trip to Paris.”

KidsCan is a Charitable Trust that provides food, clothing and basic health and hygiene items in schools to enable Kiwi kids to get to school in a position to learn. The organisation currently works with over 732 low decile schools across New Zealand.

“Crazy Day was very popular last year and we’re expecting it to be even bigger and better this year. It’s a great opportunity for everyone to have a bit of fun and raise money at the same time,” says Julie Chapman, CEO & Founder of KidsCan. “We’re really pleased that the Bakers Delight team have decided to get on board with Crazy Day. Funds raised will help Kiwi kids in need, by providing them with what they need to get the best possible start.”
