The red juicy sweet strawberries – everyone’s summer favourite are in season! To celebrate that, 5+A Day shares this 7 ingredient fresh Strawberry, pineapple and banana smoothie bowl recipe. A must to try!

Ingredients ( 7 ingredients)

1 handful of strawberries, washed and stemmed
¼ pineapple chopped
1 banana, peeled
1 cup plain yoghurt

Topping ingredients
Strawberries, chopped
Seeds to sprinkle (we used sesame and linseed)
Coconut flakes

Method
For a sustainable serving bowl, hollow out the pineapple.
You can freeze the remaining pineapple for making more smoothie bowls later

  1. Place strawberries, pineapple and banana in a blender and whizz until smooth
  2. Pour into pineapple bowl and top with your choice of toppings
