Pescatore, the fine dining restaurant in The George has been awarded two hats from the Cuisine Good Food Awards today.
Chef de Cuisine, Ryan Henley is thrilled with this award and praises his team for their utmost professionalism and continued creativity in the kitchen by stating, “We are pleased to be recognized as one of the top 23 restaurants in the country”.
“The two hats from the Cuisine Good Food Awards are well-deserved and an important testament to the skill and care from Ryan and his team in the kitchen as well as front of house staff that appreciate the significance of this award,” explains Bruce Garrett, Managing Director of Brook Serene.
“All credit goes to our incredibly passionate Pescatore team. They are committed to delivering a truly exceptional dining experience to our guests. The team are delighted to see their efforts acknowledged in New Zealand’s premier restaurant awards,” continues Garrett.
The award gives confidence to guests when dining at Pescatore that they will enjoy a dining experience that is memorable and like no other. The two hats also set a benchmark for all staff to exceed expectations and strive for excellence with every bite.
The note on the Cuisine website below the Pescatore restaurant review states: Pescatore was not originally awarded a hat score at the Cuisine Good Food Awards due to incorrect information we received about chef changes at the restaurant. We apologise to the Pescatore team and congratulate them on their two-hat status as per our original assessment for 2018.
This award acknowledges the friendly yet professional staff as well as the big flavours with a subtle balance of wow. The two hats also recognise the impressive wine list and dessert that is unexpected and unforgettable.
