De’Longhi joins the New Zealand Coffee Festival this March to launch their newest pump espresso machine, La Specialista and announce their collaboration with local coffee roastery Espresso Workshop. Festival goers and coffee lovers visiting the De’Longhi stand will enjoy the finest coffee and expert barista advice.
Kiwis love their coffee and the annual festival is expected to be hugely popular. New Zealand is ranked the 13th highest consumer of coffee in the world – higher than Australia and the USA and has more coffee roasters per capita than any other country.
Budding at-home baristas will be able to make their own espresso at De’Longhi’s ‘Be Your Own Barista Bar’ with the help of expert advice from De’Longhi coffee ambassador Giovanni Infantino. With their espresso in hand they can then wear their love of coffee on their sleeve, thanks to henna artist Aishwarya Ramen’s coffee inspired and infused designs.
De’Longhi is announcing its collaboration with local coffee roastery Espresso Workshop and for the first time, will be combining the innovative coffee technology of DeLonghi’s machines with the specialty coffee of Espresso Workshop.
De’Longhi Group’s Marketing Manager Davina Gray-Ebbett says,
“We have to admit to being coffee fanatics and we’re very excited to be part of the New Zealand Coffee Festival this year. Our La Specialista espresso machine makes outstanding espresso and works perfectly with Espresso Workshop beans. It’s a great partnership as we are both coffee obsessed and fanatical about the creation of outstanding espresso.”
Festival-goers who visit the De’Longhi stand can go in the draw to win a kilo of Espresso Workshop’s Mr. White blend; rich with flavours of chocolate, nougat and dark stonefruit.
Andrew Smart, founder of Espresso Workshop says, “The espresso we’ve been producing on the De’Longhi machines has been fantastic, we’re looking forward to continuing our collaboration with them to create more coffee magic.”
