The iconic Marlborough wine brand Wither Hills has been enchanting our palates for a quarter of a century and our very own Trudi Nelson was there to join the celebrations with a day packed with a vineyard tour, wine degustation and beautiful food.

To further mark this event, Wither Hills will be offering its Cellar Collection range – a family of craft, small batch wines – to the wider public for the very first time.

Among those available to purchase will be Wither Hills’ super premium Pinot Noir – the Honourable (2014 vintage), alongside a Late Harvest Sauvignon Blanc 2018 and a spritz Moscato inspired wine named Frivoli.

Wither Hills is also giving consumers across the country the opportunity to attend a unique one-night only birthday celebration in Marlborough by purchasing a bottle or glass of Wither Hills throughout March and April from participating supermarkets, bottle shops and on-premise locations.

The 100 lucky consumers will win travel and accommodation to Marlborough where they’ll get to enjoy wines spanning 25 years from the Wither Hills cellar, paired with the best local produce like woodfired crayfish, mountain river venison, served in Wither Hills’ recently refurbished cellar door and restaurant.

“Marlborough is a special place, but we realise not everyone has the opportunity to visit us. This is about giving Kiwis a chance to come and celebrate with us at our home and experience the magic of Wither Hills,” says Campbell.

The birthday celebrations couldn’t have gone better with its 25th vintage of Sauvignon Blanc (2018) having just been awarded Gold in this year’s Royal Easter Show Wine Awards. Another perfect way to celebrate the milestone!

The Wither Hills consumer promotion will run nationwide from 1 March until the end of April at all participating supermarkets, bottle stores and on-premise venues. Cellar Collection wines will be available at www.witherhills.co.nz during March and April 2019, or until sold out.
