Texas Chicken New Zealand, the popular fried chicken brand that prides itself on serving customers with the biggest, crispiest, juiciest and most flavoursome chicken around, has brought back one of its most popular combos.
The Herb & Garlic Crunch Combo is the very definition of comfort food, featuring juicy, tender, crisp pieces of chicken that are smothered with a delicious blend of herbs and garlic. The chicken is served with a side of moreish cheesy bacon mashed potato.
The Herb & Garlic Crunch Combo was a hit with Kiwis last year, selling out in a matter of weeks. It was so popular that Texas Chicken decided to bring it back for another year. Available in two sizes, it is the perfect antidote for New Zealand’s cooler autumn weather.
“Chicken and mashed potato is a classic comfort food combination and one that we know our Kiwi customers love. The addition of cheese and bacon just takes it to another level,” says Texas Chicken Marketing Manager, Priyanka Dutt.
The Herb & Garlic Crunch Combo is available for a limited time. It costs $12.90 for the smaller version (3 pc chicken, 1 cheesy bacon mashed potato, 1 regular fries, 1 regular Coke) and $22.00 for the larger size (6 pc chicken, 1 large cheesy bacon mashed potato, 2 honey butter buns, 1 large fries).
Herb & Garlic Crunch is currently available from all of the Texas Chicken restaurants, including the two new Rotorua locations.
In July, Texas Chicken will be celebrating four years since the brand landed in New Zealand from the USA and started providing Kiwis with its world-famous hand battered, 12-hour marinated, freshly cooked chicken and sides. Texas Chicken prides itself on serving chicken that is bigger, crispier, juicer and more flavoursome than other brands.
Menu choices include Texas Chicken’s mouth-wateringly good fried chicken pieces and tender strips, available in Original and Spicy varieties, Honey Butter Buns, and a wide range of burgers and wraps. A number of delicious sides are also available, such as the Texas Chicken smooth, whipped mashed potato, coleslaw and fries.
