Moët & Chandon is thrilled to announce its annual Moët & Chandon Grand Day, a day of sparkling celebrations around the globe where, for 24 hours, friends and guests of the Champagne House will come together to raise their champagne glasses in a worldwide toast to the 150th anniversary of Moët Impérial; a global icon of celebration since 1869.

New Zealand will be the first in the world to start Moët & Chandon Grand Day celebrations,
on Saturday 22nd June, with guests raising their flutes in a worldwide toast to life’s memorable moments. To mark this momentous year, the Champagne House will be celebrating with a long-lunch at Auckland’s ‘Gusto at The Grand’.

The glamorous long lunch is a ticketed event beginning at 1pm on Saturday 22nd June, where guests will be treated to an afternoon of champagne, music and glamour.

To mark the anniversary, Moët & Chandon has unveiled a limited-edition bottle inscribed with a redesigned logo that highlights the “I” of “Impérial” into a new symbol for its most
emblematic champagne. A crowning tribute to the precious 150-year history of this remarkable champagne, “I” is a badge of honour on this historic milestone that “must be”
celebrated in the grand style for which the House is known. Guests in New Zealand at ‘Gusto at The Grand’ will be among the first to drink from the new limited-edition bottle.

Moët & Chandon Senior Brand Manager, Juliet McInnes says, “We’re honoured to be the first country in the world to celebrate Moët & Chandon Grand Day with an indulgent Champagne long-lunch at Gusto. The day will be filled with music, fashion, food and of course, the globally renowned, Moët & Chandon Impérial champagne, served throughout the afternoon from new limited-edition anniversary bottles.”

The Champagne House is also excited to announce that iconic New Zealand brand, RUBY will be joining in the celebrations this Moët & Chandon Grand Day. The stylish fashion boutique team will be there, in partnership with Moët & Chandon, to raise a flute in celebration of the style, grandeur and pioneering spirit of what’s to come in 2019. The New Zealand long lunch will lead the world with a number of surprise Moët Moments in store for guests; this year’s Moët & Chandon Grand Day is not to be missed!
