To celebrate 10,000 Kiwi customers and 10 years in New Zealand, Thermomix today launched their new TM6 smart, connected cooking appliance. The event was held at the new Thermomix headquarters in Auckland and signals their increased commitment to bringing Kiwi households faster, smarter and easier cooking.
The Thermomix TM6 has built in Wi-Fi, providing the potential for new features and functions to be added through regular software updates. This connectivity also creates a new browsing experience giving users access to over 50,000 guided cooking recipes from around the world on Thermomix’s Cookidoo platform.
The new model features 20 functions and 10 different modes, with additions including fermentation, slow cooking, sous-vide and high temperature cooking that allows meat to be browned and sugar to be caramelised. The Thermomix’s guided cooking takes users through recipes step by step with clear on-screen instructions to achieve perfect results. Temperature and timings are set automatically by the Thermomix, making it easy to follow for cooks of any skill level.
