Le Creuset, renowned for its colourful enamelled cast ion cookware, introduces a new and limited edition piece to its range that will delight cooks and collectors alike.
Inspired by an era of decadence, when art deco was all the rage and Le Creuset’s foundry had just sprung up in Fresnoy-le-Grand, the new Soirée 24cm Signature Round Casserole is an homage to the luxurious style of the 1920’s.
Featuring the unrivalled cooking performance of Le Creuset cast iron, this celebratory casserole captures a time when the entertaining was an art form, filled with beautiful people, glamorous parties and endless glasses of champagne. Soirée updates this with a contemporary, fashionable twist.
Soirée epitomises fine dining and over-the-top extravagance. The opulent blue green of deep teal, a recently launched colour of the brand, which has proven incredibly popular, becomes even more evocative with a gold-emblazoned pattern.
Demanding food that should be equally impressive. Le Creuset has developed several recipes around Soirée, whose decadence would fit the finest of celebrations – from a vibrant beetroot and créme fraiche soup to mussels pouched in champagne cream. The recipes tie in with the brand’s Flavour Revival campaign for Spring/Summer 2019, which sees classic dishes reinvented for the modern palate.
With Soirée every dish turns into a showstopper and an extra helping of decadence is the order of the day.
Soirée launches in Le Creuset boutique stores on 1 November, 2019.
