The world’s leading manufacturer of premium domestic appliances, Miele, is proud to announce the introduction of its pioneering Generation 7000 built-in appliances to the New Zealand market. With 138 models, this range is the largest new offering by any built-in manufacturer to date with technology that has never been seen before in the industry.
The Generation 7000 range features a selection of ovens, speed ovens, built-in coffee machines, Miele’s most powerful steam appliances (including combi steam oven, straight steam oven and steam oven with microwave) and an instinctive induction cooktop. Each of which comes equipped with a host of revolutionary, Miele-exclusive technology, enhanced connectivity and clear, intuitive user interfaces.
Designed to ensure nothing stands in the way of creativity in the kitchen, the new Miele built-in range makes cooking simpler and more intuitive than ever before.
Mark Bateson, General Manager, Miele New Zealand said the Generation 7000 range has been specifically designed to make everything in the kitchen as seamless, effortless and flawless as possible.
“Following more than five years of intensive research and development – this is the biggest launch in our 120-year history and this constant innovation is a true testament to our guiding ‘Immer Besser – Forever Better’ philosophy.
“By putting our user experience at the very heart of the design – cooking has never been more intuitive. Category-leading technology means the Generation 7000 range guarantees the perfect results people have come to expect from our cutting-edge appliances.
“We are beyond proud to bring these innovations to our customers across New Zealand so they too can experience a new level of flow and intuitiveness in their homes,” said Mark.
The Generation 7000 Built-in range features a number of iconic and Miele-exclusive features to make cooking more effortless than ever before. This includes:
TasteControl –Automatically opening the oven door once cooking is finished to enable rapid cooling before switching to warming mode
FoodView – An in-oven camera viewable via the Miele@mobile app allowing for remote cooking temperature and time adjustments
MotionReact – Motion-detecting technology to bring to life displays when appliance is approached
DualSteam – Maintains uniform temperate and humidity throughout the oven, with extreme accuracy levels to the 1ºC
AutoClean and AutoDescale –Self-cleaning cartridges allow selected Generation 7000 coffee machines to automatically descale and degrease brew units and clean milk lines.
The majority of new Miele kitchen appliances are connectivity-enabled using WiFi. Alongside remote controls, the Miele@mobile app gives users access to more than 1,000 inspirational recipes.
With state-of-the-art technology, software updates for Generation 7000 can be downloaded for installation with great ease, meaning Miele appliances are always up to date.
Instinctive cooktop functionality
Miele will also introduce its brand new full surface induction cooktop. Allowing for even more flexibility in the kitchen than ever before, the cooktop has intuitive sensors so that when you relocate cookware anywhere on the cooking surface, all settings and functions will move with it – allowing you to focus on what matters most.
The induction cooktop has a unique printed pattern under the surface that allows for pots, pans and casserole dishes to glide effortlessly across the surface. Look out for induction cooktops that can connect to the rangehood via Wi-Fi connectivity as these allow any home chef to get into their true cooking flow, maximising their experience and overall results.
Earlier this year, a number of Generation 7000 products were the recipients of a range of prestigious and internationally renowned design awards before being released to market, including categories in both the Red Dot Product Awards and iF Product Design Awards.
Available in four design lines; ContourLine, PureLine, VitroLine and ArtLine, and four premium-quality colour options; Graphite Grey, Obsidian Black, Brilliant White and CleanSteel, the minimalist design of the built-in appliances will integrate harmoniously into any kitchen style, from contemporary to traditional. Generation 7000 appliances also all feature intuitive touch operation systems designed to ensure cooking remains effortless.
Tested to the equivalent of 20 years’ average usage, the Generation 7000 range has been designed to truly stand the test of time. Built-in appliances will be available to purchase in December from Miele Experience Centres and select retailer partners.
Miele’s range of Generation 7000 appliances are now available for purchase from authorised Miele retailers, Miele Experience Centres and shop.miele.co.nz.
