Restaurant Month kicks off this Saturday 1st August and for $55, you can dine at one of Auckland’s most impressive new spots, Gochu in Commercial Bay. The generous 6-dish offering includes Bbang & Guk, Mul Hwe raw kingfish, cucumber with ssam sauce, cashew cream, charred chicken with gochujang and comte, broccolini with doenjang glaze with Bingsoo (bingsoo) to polish it off. It’s a Korean flavour experience that shouldn’t be missed.

Gochu is just two months young on Auckland’s food scene and one of the newest and most exciting establishments on the Restaurant Month line up. The modern Korean Bar and Eatery serves local, seasonal ingredients in a fun environment, nestled into the corner of One Queen, Commercial Bay.

“We’ve had an amazing response since day one, and we’re excited to show people more of what we do over Restaurant Month”, says Co-Owner, Oliver Simon.

Gochu’s food menu is inspired by Co-Owner Jason Kim’s Korean childhood, made with the best New Zealand ingredients and a drinks menu made up of Natural Wine and twisted classic cocktails.
