Dole teamed up with foodie fave and NZ celebrity chef Jax Hamilton to create the recipes – a moreish Spiced Banana Shortbread, decadent Ginger, Banana & Pineapple Cheesecake, and fluffy Banana & Cocoa Souffle.

Jax’s recipes use fresh Dole produce and healthier replacements (such as honey instead of sugar as a sweetener) but don’t skimp on taste.

The recipes are part of Dole’s ‘Kitchen Challenge’, which gives up-and-coming bakers the opportunity to win a $1,000 supermarket voucher – which is so perfect just in time for Christmas!

For the Kitchen Challenge, each week we’re posting one of the recipes for Dole fans to recreate and post the image of their creation to Dole’s Facebook page, or share on Instagram using #DoleKitchenChallenge.

Dole pick three winners for each week, who each receive a $100 supermarket voucher.

One overall winner from each week goes through to the grand final, with the chance to win a $1,000 supermarket voucher – with Dole followers deciding who the winner is!

Week one winners have been picked already, but there’s still time until Wednesday next week to enter week two competition, and the week three to follow.
