Apple Puff Squares

These apple puff squares make for a delicious dessert. Add a bit of ice cream to it and volia!

You Will Need:

1 sheet of ready-rolled puff pastry cut into 4 squares
60g melted butter
2 tbsp soft brown sugar
½ teaspoon ground mixed spice
2 thinly sliced granny smith apples

Method:

Pre-heat oven 210?C.
Place pastry squares onto oven tray.
Combine butter sugar and spice and brush half of the mixture on top of the pastry squares leaving a 1cm border.
Lay the thin apple slices on top of the pastry squares leaving the 1cm border.
Brush squares with the remaining butter mixture.
Bake for 15 minutes until apple is tender and golden brown.
Cut in half for serving.
