Best salad dressings
Elevate your salads with our best salad dressings. Choose from herby avocado, tahini, Dijon vinaigrette or satay to make your salads sing.
Ingredients
Herby avocado dressing
- 1 cup Superb Herb basil parsley and mint
- 1 NZ Avocado scooped
- 2 tbsp Olivado extra virgin avocado oil
- ½ cup unsweetened Greek yoghurt
- 1 garlic clove crushed
- 2 limes juiced
- salt to taste
Dijon vinaigrette dressing
- ¼ cup DYC apple cider vinegar
- ¼ cup Olivado extra virgin avocado oil
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 2 tbsp runny honey or to taste
- salt to taste
Nut-free satay dressing
- ½ cup VGood peanot chickpea butter smooth warmed
- 3 tbsp tamari or soy sauce
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 limes juiced
- 1 tsp runny honey or maple syrup if vegan
- 1 tsp ginger finely grated
- 1 small garlic clove crushed
Tahini dressing
- ⅓ cup Chantal Organics hulled tahini
- 2 tbsp Olivado extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 garlic clove crushed
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- salt to taste
- water as needed
Instructions
- Herby avocado dressing: add all ingredients to a blender and blitz until smooth. Season to taste with salt.
- Dijon vinaigrette dressing: whisk all ingredients together in a small jug or bowl until well combined. Add honey to your desired sweetness. Season to taste with salt.
- Nut-free satay dressing: add all ingredients to a blender and blitz until smooth. Add honey/maple syrup to your desired sweetness.
- Tahini dressing: whisk all ingredients together in a small jug or bowl until well combined. Add water to your desired consistency. Season to taste with salt.
