Caramel Cream Cups
Delicious sweet treats that would sit perfectly on a dessert platter. Serve with a little cream and some fresh mint.
Delicious sweet treats that would sit perfectly on a dessert platter. Serve with a little cream and some fresh mint.
You Will Need:
200g dark choc melts, melted
1 tablespoon butter
12 can sweetened condensed milk (or use tin caramel)
1 tablespoon golden syrup
Method:
Using a small pastry brush paint some of the melted chocolate thickly inside each of the paper cases.
Place paper cases onto an oven tray and refrigerate for about 5 minutes or until chocolate is set.
Combine butter condensed milk and golden syrup in a saucepan over a medium heat for about 10 minutes or until mixture thickens and darkens in colour.
Allow to cool slightly.
Spoon the caramel mixture evenly into chocolate cases. Return to fridge until caramel is set (about 5 minutes).
Pipe or drizzle the remaining chocolate over cases and return to tray (could use chocolate buttons for decoration instead). Refrigerate until cold.
Peel off paper cases.
