Crispy Air Fryer Mushrooms

Fried mushrooms on a round plate with a small pot of creamy sauce.
Crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside, these mushrooms are perfect as a side dish for a brunch or for dipping into your favourite sauce.

  • Preheat the air fryer to 200C.
  • Beat the eggs in a bowl. Tip the Diamond Coat ‘n Cook Original into another small deep bowl.
  • Dip mushrooms in beaten eggs, then into the Coat ‘n Cook. Coat all the mushrooms this way and put on a plate.Spray with oil.
  • Place a batch of mushrooms in the air fryer basket without touching each other. Cook for 6 minutes. Shake the basket and spray any dry looking patches with cooking spray. Cook for a further 6 minutes. Repeat with the remaining mushrooms.
  • Serve hot with lemon wedges and aioli.
