Tartare Fish Burger

Tartare sauce is a classic with fish! Add creaminess, crunch and some tang with this delicious homemade version - it only takes minutes to put it together.

Ingredients
 
 

For the Tartare Sauce

  • ½ cup Kewpie mayonnaise
  • 1 gherkin finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp capers chopped
  • 1 tsp juice from the capers
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley

Instructions
 

  • Make the tartare sauce: combine all the tartare sauce ingredients and set aside.
  • Cook the fish fillets according to the packet instructions. Toast the buns.
  • Spread both sides of the buns generously with tartar sauce. Place a handful of shredded lettuce and a couple of slices of red onion on each bun, put a cooked fish fillet on top and add an extra spoonful of tartare sauce. Finish with the top half of the brioche bun.
