Guylian praline lava cupcake

These chocolate lava cupcakes are best eaten straight away from the oven. The hot chocolate lava flows out when you insert your spoon or fork! Easy, quick and fun to make, this recipe will become a delicious kid’s holiday kitchen activity.

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease or line a twelve-hole muffin tin.
  • Sift together flour, cocoa and baking powder.
  • Whisk together eggs and sugar until fluffy. Add milk and melted butter. Fold in the flour mixture.
  • Place 1 heaped spoonful of the cake batter in each cupcake hole. Add a seashell chocolate in each. Top with another spoonful of batter to bury the seashell chocolate completely.
  • Bake for 12 minutes.
  • Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream, seashell chocolate and berries.
