Crockpot chops

Just 10 minutes to prepare, a few hours in the trusty crockpot while you’re busy doing other things and voila, a gorgeously tender lamb chops meal.

Serves: 4


1 medium onion, sliced
1 teaspoon dried oreganio
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon ground rock salt
1/4 teaspooon ground black peppercorns
8 lamb loin chops
2 garlic cloves, minced


  1. Place onion in a crock pot.
  2. Combine oregano, thyme, garlic powder, salt, and pepper; rub over the lamb chops.
  3. Place chops over onions. Top with garlic.
  4. Cover and cook on low in your slow cooker for 4 to 6 hours or until the meat is tender.

Serve this fabulous kiwiana meal with creamy mashed potato, steamed green peas and gravy. Delish!
