Chocolate Coffee Ganache Tarts
If you have a sweet tooth, this is the sweet treat for you. Rich chocolate ganache with a coffee flavour, nestled in a pastry case and topped with a walnut crumb. Yum!

  • 100 g dark chocolate chopped
  • 100 g milk chocolate chopped
  • 2 Tbsp strong brewed instant coffee
  • 100 ml cream
  • 8 pre made sweet pastry shells
  • ¼ cup walnuts chopped


  • Place the chopped chocolate in a heatproof bowl and set to the side.
  • In a small pot, bring the coffee and cream to the boil; stirring until it reaches boiling point. Quickly pour over the chopped chocolate, then stir constantly with a spatula until smooth and lump free.
  • Pour evenly between the tart shells, sprinkle with walnuts, then place in the fridge for 2 hours or until set.
  • Serve with whipped cream or store in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
