Homemade bagel chips with smoked salmon spread
This spread is so good, we decided to make our own ‘chips’ to match.
Ingredients
- 1 pot Aoraki Smoky Salmon Spread
- 2 bagels
- 2 tsp garlic granules
- 3 tsp dried mixed herbs
- 1 lemon zest only
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Slice 2 bagels into thin ‘chips’.
- Place bagel chips in a bowl, add garlic, herbs and lemon zest, drizzle with oil and toss until well coated.
- Set your air fryer to 170C and bake for 5 minutes. Do this in batches if needed.
- Spread bagel chips with Salmon Spread and serve as a canape to share - or not!

Bagel chips are easy to do. You can use whole bagels and slice them in round chips or cut triangles out of half bagels like we did here.
They are great for platters or the perfect accompaniment to dips.
