Homemade Biscuits

Why not bake these fabulous Homemade Biscuits for the family? These are scrumptious, are great either iced or un-iced. Homemade cookies? Yum!

Serves: 20


100 g butter, softened
½ c sugar
1 egg lightly beaten
1 tspn ground ginger
1 ¼ c flour
1 ½ tspn baking podwer
½ c sultanas
3 ½ Weetbix crushed


  1. Heat oven to 180
  2. Cream butter and sugar till light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs and mix well.
  4. Add sifted dry ingredients and mix well.
  5. Gently mix in the weetbix and sultanas until just combined.
  6. Roll teaspoon sized balls and place on baking tray lined with baking paper. Press with floured fork.
  7. Bake for 20 min or until golden.
  8. Cool on wire rake and ice if desired.
