M&M Cookies
Kids LOVE these cookies! TIP: If you want them to last long keep them stored high up in the pantry otherwise they will be gone and eaten before you know it, except for a trail of cookie crumbs.
Ingredients
1 c butter (room temperature)
1/2 c sugar
1/2 c light brown sugar
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla
2 c regular all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/8 tsp salt
A large packet of M&Ms
- Method
- Preheat oven to 180C.
- In a electronic mixer bowl, mix the butter and the sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and the vanilla.
- In a seperate bowl, mix together flour, baking soda and salt.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and turn on the electric mixer until well combined. Mix in the m&ms.
- Using teaspoons, drop cookie dough onto your cookie sheets, making them about two inches apart.
- Bake for 10 to 13 minutes.
