Simple Indian Milk Tea

This is for the poor Wellingtonians who are suffering with a cold snap in the middle of summer. Thanks to R Watson for the recipe.

You Will Need:

2 tea bags

2/3 c water

1 c milk

1 cardamom pod crushed

ΒΌ tsp ground ginger

2 tsp sugar

cinnamon to sprinkle

Method:

Put tea bags and water in a saucepan and boil vigorously for 5 minutes.

Pour in milk and add sugar. Let it boil until the milk rises.

Add crushed cardamom pod and ginger.

Strain into mugs and dust with cinnamon.

Serve hot.
