Whether you’re making a toast on the verandah with friends, hosting the festive family gathering, enjoying a long lunch at your favourite dining spot, or attending summer evening soirées, Free AF’s new sparklings will capture the essence of celebration from the moment the cork pops!

Free AF’s Sparkling Rosé – RRP $24.95

The impossible dream.  A deliciously crisp and light sparkling rosé with zero alcohol. Perfect for a long lunch, followed by a drive home in the cool night air.

The Perfect Pour and Perfect Pairing

  • Chill down your favourite champagne flute or coupe alongside your AF Sparkling Rosé for a few hours before serving.  Pour your chilled AF Sparkling Rosé into your chilled glassware. Dress with a fresh strawberry or add a couple of edible flowers to garnish.
  • Serve AF’s Sparkling Rosé together with salmon canapés, a charcuterie board or chocolate-covered strawberries.

Free AF’s Sparkling Red – RRP $24.95

A light sparkling red with notes of stone fruit and citrus, finished with American oak and infused with Afterglow™. This tart, dry red delivers the smoothness of a Spanish red with the freshness of a clear head.

The Perfect Pour and Perfect Pairing

  • Breaking away from tradition, this beautiful sparkling red is best enjoyed chilled in an unstemmed red wine glass that’s been lightly chilled in the fridge. Offering light, delicate bubbles, it delivers a unique and refreshing flavour profile that is sure to be a crowd-pleaser.
  • Serve together with grilled vegetables, barbecued meats, or a selection of artisan cheeses. The dry notes of this wine also complement spicy dishes and fresh summer salads, making it a versatile choice for any meal.

Lisa King, AF Founder, says: “As a country steeped in rich wine culture, we’re thrilled to introduce our first-ever collection of alcohol-free bottled sparkling “wines” in time for the festive season and summer. This marks a significant step for Free AF and highlights how much the alcohol-free movement has grown in New Zealand*.

“Not only do our new sparklings taste delicious AF, but the fact they are available in a bottle presents the perfect sharing opportunity for people to come together and raise their glasses – whether that’s at Christmas, marking milestones like weddings, engagements, and baby showers, or dining out.

“Our Sparkling Rosé, which first launched in a can last year, has consistently been a best-selling product in New Zealand and the US. However, one of the most frequently-asked questions from our customers has been for a bottled version. We’re over the moon to be able to deliver on this.

“As a brand that embraces innovation over tradition, we’ve also introduced a new Sparkling Red this year, delivering light bubbles and designed to be served chilled. Chilled reds are rapidly gaining popularity worldwide**, and offering this as an alcohol-free option provides a truly unique AF experience.”

Like all Free AF drinks, the new sparkling wines contain Afterglow™, a 100% natural botanical extract that mimics the pleasant warmth of alcohol (without the alcohol).

Lisa concludes: “We believe everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy a beautifully crafted wine, whether they choose to drink alcohol or not. Our new collection of bottled sparklings offer a sophisticated, shareable experience for any occasion.  We can’t wait to share them with our customers.”

Available as a limited-edition summer run, Free AF’s new Sparkling Rosé and Sparkling Red bottles can be purchased from AF online or found on menus at bars and restaurants – RRP $24.95.
