Perfect Pork Spare Ribs
Love spare ribs? Picking it up with fingers and using teeth to nibble away at the bones, such an evolutionary thing! This pork spare ribs recipe is wonderful. So easy and delicious. Serve up for the family and get ready for the accolades.
Ingredients
- 1 kg pork spare ribs
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 3 tbsp brown sugar
- ½ tsp crushed garlic
- 2 tbsp tomato sauce
- 2 tbsp mustard seed
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 2 tbsp worcestershire sauce
- ½ cup water
Instructions
- Grill ribs in under the griller in your oven until browned. (this takes about 20 minutes).
- In the meantime, mix all remaining ingredients together to make the marinade.
- Once the ribs are browned, transfer them to a casserole dish and pour over your marinade.
- Bake for 25 minutes at 200°C.
- Let rest under foil for 5 minutes before serving for extra tenderness.

3rd time I’ve made this now and as always delicious. Just quarter cup of water needed. Lovely with honey.
Amazing! But half a cup of water was a bit too much imo, though I just cooked the water out in a pot and that worked quite well then. Added some honey too
Great taste, easy ingredients and I don’t even bother grilling the ribs first. Just throw it all together, let the ribs marinade in it for an hour or so then into the oven. I add a bit of sesame oil too.
