Blueberry Sauce
Blueberry season doesn’t officially start for a few months yet but why wait? Frozen berries work just as well in this recipe.
Serves 4-6
You Will Need:
1 c blueberries
1 cinnamon stick
1/2 c sugar
1/4 c water
Juice 1 lemon
2 tsp cornfour
Method:
Combine all ingredients in small saucepan and simmer for 20 mins stirring constantly to prevent sticking.
Mix cornflour with a small amount of water and add to berry mixture.
Bring to boil until suace thickens – more cornflour can be added if necessary.
Serve over your favourite ice cream or baked dessert.
