A bouquet garni is an assortment of fresh herbs to flavour stocks while they cook. Experiment with your favourite herb combinations.

Equipment

  • 30cm square of cheesecloth
  • Unwaxed twine

Instructions
 

  • Place all the ingredients into the center of the cheesecloth. Fold all the corners towards the center and tie the twine around the middle.
  • Add bouquet garni into stock while it simmers to add the herb flavours.
