Creamy Mushrooms
Want to be a fun-guy and make creamy mushrooms? This is the perfect recipe for brunch or lunch on a slow and happy weekend.
Ingredients
- 1 onion peeled and chopped
- 1 tbsp Olivado avocado oil
- Salt and pepper
- 1 lemon juice only
- 450 g portobello mushrooms
- 140 g sour cream
- Superb Herb thyme to garnish
Instructions
- Finely chop the onion. Lightly sauté the onion with oil in a large frying pan.
- If necessary peel and trim mushrooms then slice finely.
- Add mushrooms to the onion and sprinkle with seasonings and lemon juice. Cover the mushrooms and cook gently about 6 minutes.
- Lightly stir in sour cream. Adjust seasoning to taste. Cook the mushrooms for 2 minutes more.
- Serve garnished with sprigs of fresh thyme.
